The annual international IFLR 1000 ratings have named Pepeliaev Group among the top firms for legal support on restructuring and bankruptcy projects (Tier 3). Though much of the firm’s work remains confidential, there are a few matters, which are public knowledge. One example is advising a former shareholder and the CEO of Sitronics during an application for subsidiary liability to be imposed on them in the context of the bankruptcy case of ZAO Digital Electronics.

On 2 June 2015, the Russian Constitutional Court announced its resolution concerning the claim of OOO Zapolyarneft stating that environmental charges imposed on this company were disproportionate. One of the rules of the Russian Forestry Code and the Russian Government's resolution based on it were recognised as inconsistent with the Constitution.

A delegation from Pepeliaev Group law firm has made a further business visit to China. Our team included Senior Partner Rustem Ahmetshin, Partner Yuri Vorobyev and Head of Real Estate and Construction Practice Natalya Stenina.
