Court disputes concerning IP Represented clients in court disputes concerning IP, including in particular in the IP Rights Court, and in the Russian regulator Rospatent's Patents Disputes Chamber, as well as in other courts (both commercial and the general jurisdiction courts) in Moscow and Moscow Region, Kaluga, Belgorod, Rostov-on-Don, and Amur Region among others.

Consulting Advised a foreign FMCG company regarding intellectual property in connection with the client entering the Russian market. The advice included recommendations on how to structure contractual relationships in Russia, recommendations regarding the protection of IP rights including in relation to adding the client's trademarks to the applicable customs registers, etc. 

Due Diligence Carried out due diligence of a large set of patents relating to inventions for electrical machinery and technology of a major plant in Russia that was to be acquired by a foreign investor. 

Franchise agreement We drafted a franchise agreement on behalf of a major restaurant business company to widen its franchise.  

Advisory services Advised a Russian stock exchange on rights to a number of computer programmes in relation to a reorganisation of legal entities that formed a part of the client's group of companies.  We analysed the transfer of rights to the corresponding programmes and gave a legal appraisal of the risks and restrictions.

Registering trademarks Registered the trademarks of a Russian mobile operator, and a major  foreign company in all CIS countries, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, USA and some Latin American countries.
