On 21 July 2023 Federal Law No. 308-FZ dated 10 July 2023 will come into effect. It provides for the possibility of identification, for the benefit of Russian financial institutions, to be conducted by foreign financial institutions in relation to foreign persons to whom they provide services.
Amendments have been adopted to town-planning legislation which, among other things, enable the Russian Government to approve the procedure for adopting draft site design documentation and simplify the extension of a construction permit.

The Russian Constitutional Court has adopted Resolution No. 30-P dated 5 June 2023. The Constitutional Court has checked whether article 35(2) of the Bankruptcy Law complies with the Constitution to the extent of how in legal practice the right was not recognised of an insurance company to participate in a dispute regarding the acts or omissions of a court-appointed administrator where no claim for losses to be recovered from the administrator has been asserted.
