Unfortunately more and more companies are finding these days that labor and migration audits are part and parcel of the business landscape in Russia. The authorities have publicly proclaimed their intention of protecting business. However, to date such statements of intent have not been matched by actions.
The issue of the liability of the state authorities for damage caused to business is relevant today. We have seen a considerable number of examples where the state authorities inflicted substantial damage on enterprises and companies through unlawful actions.
21 October 2009 on the territory of Russia came into effect changes to the Arbitration Procedural Code (hereinafter - the APC), enacted by the Federal Law № 205-FZ "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Russia" from 19.07.2009 year.
