Pepeliaev Group advises of the new service for paying subsidies to small and medium-sized enterprises

Order No. 294 of the Russian President dated 28 April 2020 has established non-working days in the period between 6 May and 8 May 2020.



Pepeliaev Group has drafted a list of key questions that companies registered as limited liability companies should focus on when they plan to hold a general meeting of members in absentia, i.e. using what is known as the 'absentee voting' procedure. Further, we propose for consideration some recommendations that will help you to avoid any potential adverse effects, including the invalidation of resolutions adopted using absentee voting.

On 17 April 2020 the State Duma in the third reading adopted draft law No. 685368-7 which introduces significant amendments to the current article 9.1 of the Bankruptcy Law, regulating the application of the moratorium on bankruptcy and other significant restrictions with respect to a wide range of persons.
Pepeliaev Group advises that, on 30 April 2020 the Praesidium of the Russian Supreme Court (the “Supreme Court”) approved a Review in which, among other things, it explained certain issues of the application of legislation concerning the granting of deferred payments to a tenant and the reduction of rent in connection with the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the Russian Federation.

On 30 April 2020, the Russian Supreme Court (the “Supreme Court”) approved additional Review No. 2 of selected issues of case law associated with the application of legislation and measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the Russian Federation.
