Olga Evseeva, an Associate in Pepeliaev Group’s Customs Law and Foreign Trade Regulation Practice, has joined an advisory working group at the Central Energy Customs of the Russian Federal Customs Service. The group’s task is to work with persons involved in foreign trade.

A winter gala reception: “Business and the Law of Sakhalin”, which was organised by law firm Pepeliaev Group, was held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on 20 December. During the event, the best corporate lawyers of Sakhalin were awarded for handling most complicated cases that were considered in the region. The gala reception was staged in association with newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

On 12 December the Pepeliaev Group Exclusive Club held its second meeting in the Museums of the Moscow Kremlin. Those attending the event, which was dedicated to the cinema and fashion of the first half of ХХ century, were told about the role of cinematography in forming an ideal fashion icon of the era based on the example of gorgeous movie divas: Marilyn Monroe, Vera Kholodnaya, Mary Pickford and many others. 

Pepeliaev Group has claimed top positions in the ratings by national legal directory Pravo.ru-300. The firm’s lawyers have been hailed as the best in tax, antitrust and employment law, and in litigation in the sphere of pharmaceuticals and healthcare (tier 1).

On 30 November a conference was held in Moscow titled ‘HR-2017: The most topical legal issues’, which was arranged by Pepeliaev Group's Employment and Migration Law Practice. The event was broadcast to the firm's offices in Krasnoyarsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. 

In a dispute with the tax authority, lawyers from Pepeliaev Group’s tax practice successfully defended the interests of a company that owns a building which is an architectural monument of national significance in St Petersburg.
