In the Russian Federation, the legislative regulation of non-competition clauses still lacks clarity; therefore, it would be wise to address the experience of the European Union and, before using such tool, to request the relevant assessment from the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service.

Valentina Orlova figures at the top of the World Trademark Review – 1000 international rating Once more, the World Trademark Review-1000 has hailed Valentina Orlova, Head of the Intellectual Property and Trademarks Practice at Pepeliaev Group, as one of Russia's premier IP lawyers. She has been placed in Band 1 (Gold) in the "Individuals: prosecution and strategy" section for 2020.
